Cindy Luo
Venture Programme Manager

In line with AUT Ventures’ mission, Cindy assists AUT academics in creating products and services that solve real-world problems. She is particularly passionate about the areas of biotechnology, life sciences, and med-tech, and is committed to helping to ensure the right support and resources are provided where possible to transform research into impact. In addition to her part in realising the value of deep tech knowledge and skills at AUT, Cindy also helps to identify, protect and manage the intellectual property to maximise the growth and success of the ventures.

Cindy holds a BSc in Biomedical Science and Master of Bioscience Enterprise (both from the University of Auckland) and has also had some experience in the pharmaceutical industry and the NZ health system before joining AUT.
