Be one of the first University researchers in Aotearoa New Zealand to undertake professional development through Campus Plus, a global brand with an established track record in Australia and the UK offering learning and development pathways for ‘commercially curious’ researchers.
AUT Ventures has partnered with Campus Plus to offer the AUT community access to a Pilot Programme in 2025.
Through this programme, a limited number of AUT researchers will gain access to Platform Plus, along with the BASE webinar series—a weekly, hour-long webinar series covering various aspects of research commercialisation. Topics range from assessing commercial potential to stakeholder engagement, providing insights for researchers at any stage of their career.
In addition, we have subscribed to two specialised series:
- Commercialising Life Science and Health Research
- Commercialising Artificial Intelligence
These sessions are designed to support researchers who are interested in understanding the commercial aspects of their work, whether they are actively pursuing commercialisation or simply exploring possibilities.
Spaces are strictly limited and on a ‘first in first served’ basis. Webinars for 2025 start with ‘ Does my research have commercial potential?’ on Thursday 28 February at 2pm.

No researcher is the same, and the Campus Plus Researcher Questionnaire enables commercialisation professionals to quickly identify the type of researcher we’re working with and adapt our approach, language and expectations to support effective engagement with researchers.
