Emerging Innovator Programme
Inspiring and nurturing Kiwi scientists to develop their commercialisation and/or entrepreneurship expertise.
Proudly brought to you by KiwiNet, the EI Programme provides targeted support, funding, and mentorship to enable scientists to transform their discoveries into new business to drive prosperity for Aotearoa New Zealand.
With three intakes a year in February, May, and September, potential innovators are nominated by AUT Ventures and invited to deliver a five-minute pitch to the Investment Committee.
AUT has a history of having strong representation in the programme with previous Emerging Innovators including Dr Debbie Bean, Dr Mujtaba Alshakouri, Dr Andres Tiban, and Dr Lari Dkhar.
