- 3D Printing Lab
Hardware and software technologies to help navigate between digital and physical design. Technologies include a laser printer. - AUT Roche Diagnostics Laboratory
State-of-the-art machines and equipment for scientific testing in clinical chemistry, molecular diagnostics, haematology and immunology. Instrumentation includes a Sysmex® XT-Series Automated Haematology Analyser and a suite of real-time PCR machines. - Motion Capture Lab
Cutting-edge facilities for body, facial and object capture using industry leading technology. Equipment includes Raptor-4 motion capture cameras and Faceware. - Scanning Electron Microscope
The SEM images a sample by using a beam of high-energy electrons instead of light waves. It offers ultra-high-res images and magnifications of up to 800,000 times. - Tribology and Surface Engineering Laboratory
Test instruments for tribological and mechanical characterisation. Capabilities range from the evaluation of lubricants, fuels and additives to unique friction, wear and tribo-corrosion testing capabilities for advanced materials and surface coatings.
